Ashe Van Lines recently handled a large household move for my family from Conover, NC to Denver, NC. All my items were carefully removed from my previous home and delivered to my new home without any damages. I had priceless family antiques included in this move. The crew was very professional and knew exactly how to prep and pack so no damage occurred during transport. I was thrilled they were received in perfect condition. Although we experienced some scheduling difficulties with the move, Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage offered to make it good by offering overnight accommodations and repair services for a damaged piece of furniture, and Jamie even sent us a gift card. This was very much appreciated. The movers worked hard and put in extra-long hours to ensure the job was done that day. The character of a company and its owners is not so much shown by how they handle things when all goes well; rather, it is shown by how a company treats its customers and resolves issues when something does not go as planned. Mindy/Chanel in the office worked with me over the course of a couple of days to help get my move set up. This was the farthest and most stressful move I’ve done in my life, and because of my work, it was impossible to nail down an exact day/time for the unload. Because I was moving into an apartment complex, I needed everything to line up perfectly to get our things moved in and clear out the parking lot ASAP. Mindy was able to get some guys together last minute and had them there within a couple of hours. I’ve never used movers before, always done everything myself, but again due to time constraints, that wasn’t an option. Because of their speed and convenience, they’ve spoiled me for future moves.

One of the best moving and storage companies that I’ve ever had to deal with. That is saying a lot, considering I move every year or two. Although this was the first time I had used the company, I can say they were worth more than any company I have ever worked with and accommodated my needs more than others. I had many last-minute changes and a lot of issues dealing with my realtor, but the owner (Jamie) as well as the office staff didn’t sweat it. Excellent experience! The crew of four worked quickly and professionally, even when climbing three sets of stairs! They took care of our items. The price was very reasonable. The crew, Chris and the two helpers, went above and beyond. I had been ripped off by brokerage movers, and these guys gave me great value for moving stuff out of original storage into new storage with all the items from my apartment into new storage at the last minute. We unexpectedly sold our house and needed to move everything quickly. To make things more challenging, it had to be packed the week before Christmas and moved the day after. Not having any experience with moving companies in the area, we were a little nervous about selecting the right company. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. Richard personally oversaw the packing, and Jamie personally came the day of the move to make sure everything went smoothly. The crew was awesome, and we appreciated Jamie’s personal touch. The owner and his assistant were amazing, and they stayed in touch. The three guys and lady who moved us were amazing too. They worked so hard and were very careful with my expensive furniture. From beginning to end, this has hands-down been the easiest move I’ve ever experienced, and it’s all because of this company. I love Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage! I have used them several times and been impressed each time. Most recently, we had storm damage from a tornado and had to move out all of the furniture from our first floor for repairs. Jamie and his crew arrived and did a fabulous job. They carefully wrapped each piece of furniture and placed it in our garage. They placed thick moving paper on the floor of the garage to further protect the furniture. This included our refrigerators, washer and dryer, a piano, and several antiques. Two-and-a-half weeks later, they returned to move everything back into the house and set it up. Perfect! No damage, no trash left behind. This was a stressful time for us, but Jamie and his crew took the moving stress away. These folks are AWESOME. I would highly recommend them!

I was referred to Jamie by Jay Brown. I was dreading listing my house because I had accumulated so much “stuff” over the years and couldn’t bear the thought of moving all of it. Jay says to me, “Don’t worry, I got a guy.” So Jay turns me on to Jamie Eaker, who comes out to my home and takes an inventory of all my things I need moved to unclutter and stage my home. Jamie was super nice and informed me exactly how everything would go. Well most people over promise and under deliver, but not this guy! All went just as he said. His team was in and out within 2 hours. They were super pleasant and wrapped everything up nice and secure and took it to the warehouse. All my stuff is ready to go to the new house when we close. There are just not too many businesses like this left that really care about the customer and truly try to do the right thing. We used Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage for two recent moves, and they were fantastic. All of the employees were courteous and professional, and I would recommend them highly to anyone. The first move involved moving my mother from our home into an assisted living facility approximately 3 hours away. She is 96, and the movers were very patient and understanding. The second one involved moving our household items into a temporary rental (about 3 hours away), and once again, it could not have gone smoother. Jamie, the owner, is very professional and service oriented. He is a wonderful person. We will be moving again as soon as we find a home to buy and will undoubtedly be using Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage for a third time. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

My move provided by Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage was the simplest move I’ve ever experienced. All the men were very courteous, professional and helpful. They were all careful with my furniture and boxes with no problems occurring. They were also very mindful that I was paying by the hour and finished way ahead of the estimated time. I will definitely use Ashe Van Lines Moving & Storage the next time I move and highly recommend them. Beyond the professionalism, they were also all very nice and easy to talk with, which is a very nice personal touch in my opinion.
