The crew, Chris was in charge and the two helpers (sorry, forgot names) went above and beyond. I had been ripped off by brokerage movers and these guys gave me great value for moving stuff out of original storage into new storage with all the items from apartment into new storage at last minute. I will hire them to move my items out of storage when I find out where I land. Originally, MN but might change to FL but nice to have a family owned, good business to help out when I do move out of storage unit!

Mindy/Chanel in the office worked with me over the course of a couple of days to help get my move set up. This was the farthest and most stressful move I've done in my life and because of my work it was impossible to nail down an exact day/time for the unload. Because I was moving into an apartment complex, I needed everything to line up perfectly to get our things moved in and clear out the parking lot ASAP. Mindy was able to get some guys together last minute and had them there within a couple of hours. I've never used movers before, always done everything myself, but again due to time constraints that wasn't an option. It was a little pricey but because of their speed and convenience...they've spoiled me for future moves.

Jamie and his team did a wonderful job with a very difficult and big move. We had over 8k sq ft of furniture and boxes to be moved. Our house was also situated at the bottom of a hill where they had to shuttle loads out to a bigger truck . This team was extremely professional and took very good care of our belongings. One of the best moving and storage companies that I’ve ever had to deal with. That is saying a lot considering I move every year or two. Although this was the first time that I had used the company, I can say they were worth more than any company that I have ever worked with and accommodated to my needs more than others. I had many last minute changes and a lot of issues dealing with my Realtor but the owner (Jamie) as well as the office staff didn’t sweat it, they arranged the details and took so much stress off of my back. I randomly picked this business from the internet. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of Mindy’s visit to my home to give me an estimate. She really made me feel confident that Ashe Van Lines would do a good job. The day of the move I was quite emotional in leaving my home of about 30 years. Roc and Justin were very supportive and nurturing to me on this day. They did a great job in taking care of my belongings. Everything arrived safely in good working order. It took them approximately 9 hours to move everything and allow for travel time.My only concern is that we could have used a third guy since my apt was on the third floor. My movers did not complain a bit. They were always friendly and kind.Chanel in the office was accessible for any questions the day of my move and other days as well.

Probably more than 5 star service. Chanel was the one who helped us with the quote and other details, she was very helpful. No hidden charges or any extra fees even no advance payment. Todd and his son and his son in law (I believe) helped us with our short distance move and we can’t expect anything more. They were well disciplined, polite, hardworking(our quote was at hourly rate- these people didn’t even waste a second).This was our fourth move and first time had a stress free move. I would highly recommend Todd and his boys for a stress free move.

I've used moving companies in the past to move me but I've never been treated with so much respect and with a personable staff as I have with Ashe Van lines and Moving Company. Chanel the receptionist went out of her way to get me the best movers that would be responsible for my belongings. Ashe Van Lines recently handled a large house hold move for my family from Conover, NC to Denver, NC. All my items were carefully removed from my previous home and delivered to my new home without any damages. I had priceless family antiques included in this move. Excellent service on the move yesterday. 4 men and two trucks showed up on time and moved 7,500 sq foot of furniture from my old house to my new house in 10 hours as promised. We were in need of a last minute move due to unexpected circumstances. Jamie and his team at Ashe Van Lines stepped in and saved the day!!! I recently moved my Mom to Kingston Residence. Ashe was recommended to me by the staff there. They did not disappoint! Two very nice young men did a wonderful job with packing, moving and unpacking my Mom's things, which included several antiques. They took great care with everything, were very friendly, and very polite. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a move!

Ashe Van Lines is an EXCELLENT company! Moving can certainly be stressful, but the movers at Ashe are skilled and SO careful with personal belongings and are also very efficient, making the process very worry-free! Jamie, the owner/president, is such a kind and caring person- you couldn't find a better person! Ashe Van Lines sent 3 very capable young men and a truck to take care of our move. They worked diligently and quickly wrapped all furniture and large items in padded blankets. They dismantled and set beds back up for us. This is my third time using this company and I will call on them again! They called after to make sure all went smoothly - and it did! Although we experienced some scheduling difficulties with the move, Ashe Van Lines offered to make it good by offering overnight accommodations, repair services for a damaged piece of furniture and Jamie even sent us a gift card. This was very much appreciated. The movers worked hard and put in extra long hours to ensure the job was done that day. The character of a company and its owners is not so much shown by how they handle things when all goes well; rather, it is shown by how a company treats its customers and resolves issues when something does not go as planned. Jamie took excellent care of us.

Had no prior knowledge of Ashe Van Lines until seeing an ad in our local newspaper. Gave them a call and have no regrets. Moved us four hours away and can say the move was seamless------from loading to unloading---- plus assembling furniture! Employees were very respectful of our furnishings and home. Kudos to Sean Smart, Billy Henry and Todd Anderson!!! Would not hesitate to recommend ASHE VAN LINES !!!

I can’t stress how worried my husband was about our very heavy and expensive furniture with this move!!!! However Jamie and his crew were amazing. Not only was our furniture heavy but do to the location of some of it they had to deal with rocky trerrain and tight spaces. With that being said there was not one scratch on any of our stuff and they were able to put back toghter some very difficult pieces!!!!!!! This is the first move ever without a claim. Thank you GUYS!!!!!

I had a great moving experience with Ashe Van Lines! The movers were super friendly and helpful with all my questions, and the management team was quick to make sure that my move went smoothly and on time! I would definitely recommend them. I move around a lot for work, and have used other moving companies in the past, but I just loved how they handled everything with care, and I’ll definitely use them for my future moves!

Words can't express my appreciation for Jamie and his crew. Today was an extremely hectic day due to closing drama with our Buyer. Jamie has been extremely flexible with schedule down to the day before the move. The crew was extremely professional and took care of our items as if they were their own! I have moved many times and had my share of horror stories. Jamie puts his customers needs first and sincerely cares about the work he does!! If I could give over 5 stars believe me I would!!

I highly recommend this company when it comes down to reliable and trustworthy employees to get the job done in a timely manner. Not only were the men fast-paced and thorough, they were very amiable and professional. They were quick to assess what needed to be packed and loaded, and quickly got to work without any damage to my belongings. They even at my request, moved some other furniture around without a second thought or unwillingness. Wonderful group of people.

My husband gave me a rose every month on the 17th for our monthly anniversary. I saved them in a vase. The movers were able to pack and move those dried roses in tack.Customer service was wonderful and worked on my timeline. I was treated like family. They made moving less stressful.

We used Ashe Van Lines for two recent moves and they were fantastic. All of the employees were courteous and professional and I would recommend them highly to anyone. The first move involved moving my mother from our home into an assisted living facility approximately 3 hours away. She is 96 and the movers were very patient and understanding. The second one involved moving our household items into a temporary rental (about 3 hours away) and once again, it could not have gone smoother. Jaime. the owner, is very professional and service oriented. He is a wonderful person. We will be moving again as soon as we find a home to buy and will undoubtedly using Ashe Van Lines for a third time. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation.

The level of care the group at ash Van lines has for their customers is beyond any movers I have ever dealt with. Their prices were very competitive with no hidden costs. I highly recommend for local or long distance, they have climate controlled storage and will even come move your furniture around for a party or the holidays.

I was referred to Jamie by Jay Brown. I was dreading listing my house because I had accumulated so much “stuff” over the years and couldn’t bear the thought of moving all of it. Jay says to me, “ don’t worry, I got a GUY”. So Jay turns me on to Jamie Eaker who comes out to my home, takes an inventory of all my things I need moved to uncluttered and stage my home. Jamie was super nice and informed me exactly how everything would go. Well most people over promise and under deliver but not this guy! All went just as he said, his team was in and out within 2 hours, were super pleasant and wrapped everything up nice and secure and took it to the warehouse. All my stuff is ready to go to the new house when we close. There is just not to many businesses like this left that really care about the customer and truly try to do the right thing. I would highly recommend Ashe Moving lines and storage to all my friends and family. Great job guys!

If I could give Ashe Van Lines 10 stars, I would! This was our 8th move. We have moved across state lines 3 times. We have moved within the same state 6 times. We have moved within the same city twice. Incredibly, I found Ashe when I saw one of their trucks sitting beside me at a traffic light. That was my lucky day! I called the number on the truck that day; Jamie and Rodger were at our house the next day discussing how to care for our family heirlooms and other items valuable only to us. Then of course as life always happens to us, I wound up in the ER right in the middle of the move. Thank God for this company which stepped right up and completed the packing which I could not. Then after getting us to our new home across town, they offered to help us unpack! Never have we encountered movers with an ethic like theirs. Not only is Ashe Van Lines the most professional mover that we have employed, Ashe has a heart! It would be a mistake for you to hire anyone else.

In the past, we’ve used big, national moving companies when we’ve relocated from one state to another, and by an impersonal and somewhat mysterious process, our belongings left Point A and arrived mostly intact at Point B. We were always aware that we were a number and not a name to these companies. In our recent move from NC to KY, however, we decided to try the local Ashe Van Lines. It was a completely different experience! The efficient, friendly team members went out of their way, time and again, to prove that our business mattered to them — and we did, too. Any question we had was immediately answered; every promise made to us was kept; and everyone involved was clearly experienced, knowledgeable, respectful of our property (both our possessions and the houses we moved from/to), and dedicated to making our experience a smooth and pleasant one.
