They were awesome! Chanel got us scheduled quickly, despite the busy week and the guys were super professional. Junior, Daniel and Tim were careful with our items, protected our walls from dings, and when we arrived at our destination, they put everything in place quickly and wonderfully! They were efficient and tried to stay within the time constraints of our contract, without sacrificing the quality of their work. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future, when the time arises!

Booked a move on a weeks notice through Robin- she was so pleasant and easy to work with! Moved from Statesville to Conover. The Men showed up on time, padded everything before removing from Home and took utmost care with all my items including the heavy sofa from H**l and my upright piano. Hats off to Lance, Jeffrey and Daniel. I've used other big players in the industry to move me over the last few years and they are professional box wheelers. These men at Ashe Van Lines in Hickory know how to pad, load, and unload FURNITURE. This was not a one off because I got the company name from my neighbors who were being moved in 2 weeks earlier into their brand new constructed home ( like mine) and it was a different crew so that tells me they have a great staff. The office Dispatch was also wonderful to deal with. USE THEM!

Let me just start off by saying this company was a pleasure to work with. They got me a fast quote which was very reasonable for my out of state move and they made the process so easy. They showed up on time and worked their butts off. Some of my things were damaged from the past movers which included a water leak at the storage unit that I was paying for and I had not been notified of the damage that had been done, with all this going on they made sure I got pictures of everything damaged, never rushed me in anyway and was compassionate to make me feel comfortable about my situation. Everyone from the office staff and workers including the owner that took time out to come out to look at all my items was very helpful and respectful in my time of need with my damaged items. (Please read that this company was NOT responsible in any way for my damaged items). They got my items to KY without a single damage item on their part and helped me unload and placed my household items in my house and storage unit here. I would recommend them 100 percent not only because I had an amazing experience but because you just can’t find a company anymore that will go out of their way to make a horrible experience into an amazing one. Was not quite ready for the move that was headed my way but Ashe Van Lines took the stress and headaches away and allowed me to focus on other things. Very responsive from my first call. We couldn't make the trip to NC to help with the move and left it to friends and Ashe Van Lines. Everything was packed well and transported with no problems all the way from Hickory, NC to Pennsylvania. The gentleman moving the contents on and off the truck, did an excellent job. My family was facing a move that was approximately 600 miles one way and consisted of more than nine storage lockers. We knew there was no way we could do it ourselves. Having just moved to a new hometown where we didn't know who would be willing or able to help us especially with all of the COVID restrictions... or if their work ethics would be what they advertised. We relied on God and reached out to Ashe Van Lines. From our very first meeting with CHANEL and MARGIE we were certain we had found the company to handle this massive undertaking. Then we met our movers., CHRIS and JUNIOR. A business is only as good as the people that represents them. These four people makes Ashe Van Lines number one in the field. We did not question their ability to do the job eventhough we were asking them to travel from North Carolina to Brooklyn, NY, upload and transport a plethora of our possessions back to North Carolina and re-store everything. We discussed the timeline and our crew arrived in NY to the hour as promised. Chris and Junior showed how professional they are because they wanted to start working right away without taking any rest. Fortunately we were able to convince them to take a short recuperative rest. We were super impressed with their work ethic as these two men did the work of six in half the time. In four hours they werre loaded and heading back to North Carolina. As they drove away we felt our stress dissolve completely. It was the best business and personal relationship we have had in a long time. SIncerity and honesty can't be purchased, it must come from the heart. They started exactly at the agreed upon time. It was well above hella-hot but they never broke stride to take a smoke break or grab some shade. I had to insist that they slow down long enough to rehydrate. We are truly touched by this crew. I will trust them with any job I need done, locally or crosscountry. And we know that Chanel and Margie is the frontline of our crew and made it happen seenlessly. Together they make Ashe Van Lines worthy of a ten star review. And it was worth every cent we paid. We love all of you guys and are your biggest fans for life. Thank you for being our anchor in this storm called logistics. You all are #1.

The crew, Chris was in charge and the two helpers (sorry, forgot names) went above and beyond. I had been ripped off by brokerage movers and these guys gave me great value for moving stuff out of original storage into new storage with all the items from apartment into new storage at last minute. I will hire them to move my items out of storage when I find out where I land. Originally, MN but might change to FL but nice to have a family owned, good business to help out when I do move out of storage unit!

Mindy/Chanel in the office worked with me over the course of a couple of days to help get my move set up. This was the farthest and most stressful move I've done in my life and because of my work it was impossible to nail down an exact day/time for the unload. Because I was moving into an apartment complex, I needed everything to line up perfectly to get our things moved in and clear out the parking lot ASAP. Mindy was able to get some guys together last minute and had them there within a couple of hours. I've never used movers before, always done everything myself, but again due to time constraints that wasn't an option. It was a little pricey but because of their speed and convenience...they've spoiled me for future moves.

Absolutely LOVE Jamie, Chanel, Robin, & Mindy!!!! Everyone is amazing and so helpful. Mindy came by to do the quote and made sure everything we wanted was covered in the move. I had a couple questions and Robin was so helpful in getting me the answers I needed. Jamie and his team did a wonderful job with a very difficult and big move. We had over 8k sq ft of furniture and boxes to be moved. Our house was also situated at the bottom of a hill where they had to shuttle loads out to a bigger truck . This team was extremely professional and took very good care of our belongings. One of the best moving and storage companies that I’ve ever had to deal with. That is saying a lot considering I move every year or two. Although this was the first time that I had used the company, I can say they were worth more than any company that I have ever worked with and accommodated to my needs more than others. I randomly picked this business from the internet. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of Mindy’s visit to my home to give me an estimate. She really made me feel confident that Ashe Van Lines would do a good job. The day of the move I was quite emotional in leaving my home of about 30 years. Roc and Justin were very supportive and nurturing to me on this day. They did a great job in taking care of my belongings. Everything arrived safely in good working order. It took them approximately 9 hours to move everything and allow for travel time.My only concern is that we could have used a third guy since my apt was on the third floor. My movers did not complain a bit. They were always friendly and kind.Chanel in the office was accessible for any questions the day of my move and other days as well.

Probably more than 5 star service. Chanel was the one who helped us with the quote and other details, she was very helpful. No hidden charges or any extra fees even no advance payment. Todd and his son and his son in law (I believe) helped us with our short distance move and we can’t expect anything more. They were well disciplined, polite, hardworking(our quote was at hourly rate- these people didn’t even waste a second).This was our fourth move and first time had a stress free move. I've used moving companies in the past to move me but I've never been treated with so much respect and with a personable staff as I have with Ashe Van lines and Moving Company. Chanel the receptionist went out of her way to get me the best movers that would be responsible for my belongings. Excellent service on the move yesterday. 4 men and two trucks showed up on time and moved 7,500 sq foot of furniture from my old house to my new house in 10 hours as promised. I would recommend Ashe Van Lines to anybody. I was nervous about getting someone to move our stuff from Michigan all the way to North Carolina but Tucker did a perfect job. Also the office staff is really nice, Chanel was always very helpful. Ash Van Lines proved to be a great company all around.
